Police Activities League (PAL)

Police Activities League (PAL) is a Community Service and Mentoring program run by a Sworn Community Service Officer. Our goals are:

  • To provide local youth with focus and direction, helping them become responsible citizens
  • To establish positive relationships between youth, police, and the community
  • Perform variety of Community Service Project, which might be helping clean up a home area for someone who is physically unable, clean up projects in other city areas, visit at the local Senior Center or work with some of the Community Civic organizations.

Meeting Common Ground

PAL accomplishes this through providing a common meeting ground for police, citizens, and youth of Shafter by spending time being assisted in after school homework and educational direction, mentoring relationships, educational, and community service activities.
